Norm is a Senior Project Manager with the Design/Construction team at West Point Engineers LLC. He is an Army Combat Veteran (Lieutenant Colonel, Retired, Bronze Star, and Legion of Merit recipient) with over 40 years of experience in government facilities and oil/gas/chemical sector engineering design and construction projects. He has experience on government teams with the US Army Corps of Engineers (Sacramento, Chicago, Basra Iraq, and the Headquarters, Washington DC), and the Department of Defense (Boling AFB). He also has private sector experience on Fluor Enterprises teams (ExxonMobil, Sabic, South African Oil Company (Sasol), the Department of Energy, and the Department of Homeland Security).
He has a Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering Mechanics) from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Engineering degree (Computational Mechanics/Finite Elements) from The University of Texas at Austin, and has completed the coursework for the Doctor of Philosophy degree (Civil Engineering – Structures), at The University of Texas at Austin. He is certified as an Engineer-In-Training from the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, US Military Academy,
Originally from New Jersey, he currently resides in Texas and is an avid runner, cyclist, and triathlete.
