Blaine founded West Point Engineers in August 2006 to continue his vision of dedication to improving the nation's infrastructure. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering at the United States Military Academy West Point. Following graduation, he served five years as an Active Duty Military officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers and other units. He completed two tours in Iraq and was awarded the Bronze Star.
Upon exiting the military, he continued his dedication to serving his country. He achieved his Professional Engineers License in 2006 with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering and maintains his license in over 15 states. He completed his Master's in Business Administration at Auburn.
He holds multiple industry certifications as a Project Management Professional, Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT), LEED Green Associate, and an ASIS-certified Physical Security Professional.
He has designed projects in almost every US state, Kuwait, and Iraq. He is an expert in federal, commercial, and residential design.
